Colibri Sanctuary gatherings are held on Maui, Hawaii, in the United States. Accepted participants receive the appropriate venue and travel details as part of the preparation process.

What is the first step before registering?

The first step is an introductory call. It is a practical opportunity to share your intentions, ask questions, learn about the flow of the gathering, and determine whether the process appears appropriate for you.

Do I need previous ceremony or retreat experience?

No previous ceremony or retreat experience is required. Participants are asked to approach the experience with care, honesty, and a willingness to follow the preparation and screening process.

What does the confidential screening process include?

Screening includes a health questionnaire, discussion of current medications and supplements, mental-health history, previous experience, an introductory conversation, and a review of preparation and aftercare.

Can I participate if I take medication or supplements?

Every prescription medicine, over-the-counter product, supplement, and substance must be disclosed during screening. Do not stop, start, taper, or change prescribed medication for a ceremony without guidance from the clinician who prescribes it.

Preparation includes reviewing dietary guidance, discussing medications with your clinician when needed, allowing time for rest and reflection, and following the instructions shared during screening.

How do I register for a specific ceremony weekend?

After the introductory call and screening steps, visit the Ceremony Weekends page, select a date, and begin the application process for that gathering.

What is the deposit and cancellation policy?

For two-day ceremony weekends, deposits become non-refundable 14 days before the gathering begins. For the six-day Spirit Vision retreat, deposits become non-refundable 28 days before the retreat begins. Please contact us before booking if you have questions about your reservation.

What if the gathering is not an appropriate fit right now?

The aim of screening is to support safety and thoughtful decision-making. If participation appears to carry an elevated risk, the facilitators may recommend postponing attendance or seeking guidance from a qualified healthcare professional before applying again.

Is there support after a ceremony or retreat?

Preparation and integration are treated as important parts of the process. Participants receive guidance intended to help them reflect on and carry forward what they have learned.
